I enrolled in the LPN program and it was a disaster from the start. My initial start date was supposed to be the fall, then they moved my clinical date up three weeks and I had not yet completed my vaccine series, even though they assured me I would have time to complete it before class started; and I ended up not being able to start until the spring. Once I started I quickly realized this is a sink or swim school. Most of the teachers swipe through the PowerPoint and then you teach yourself after class. It is very disorganized and no one is ever on the same page when it comes to what is expected of you. They change dates last minute. Once I showed up to clinical and waited for three hours and no instructor showed. When I called I was told Oh yeah we changed that clinical date. This school makes nursing school even harder than it already is. Also they already lost their accreditation for the ASN program and their nursing programs are now under review. Their NCLEX pass rates are very low as well. Dont go here!!

I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate Rasmussen University. I wanted to become a nurse but all the programs I was looking into seemed drawn out and you received an ADN, not a BSN. I had already received my BS and after 4 years of an undergraduate degree, the last thing I wanted to do was go back for another 4 years to receive my BSN. I began looking into other degree programs that were quick and would get me to the same destination. Just when I thought all was lost, I received a call from my sister telling me about one of her co-workers who is almost finished with her BSN degree, and it took her less than 2 years. Her co-worker was attending Rasmussen University. I attended their information session and instantly I was sold. I applied for the school and got connected with my advisor Nicole Midolo. She is a great communicator, expert listener, understanding, compassionate, helpful, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She wants you to succeed. Nursing school is challenging everywhere, but you will triumph if you work hard and accept help. I recommend Rasmussen University to anyone because they have endless resources to help you succeed and the faculty and staff are genuinely there to help you reach your goal.
