Pinocchios Original Italian Ice Cream

Dear Random User (What a creative name!) I want to first thank you for trying our handcrafted gelato at Pinocchio's. Yes. Our banana nutella uses fresh bananas. I assure you no banana peels were used in our gelato. Regarding our gelato pans in our dipping cabinets, I can tell you that we have been serving our award winning gelato in open containers for over 42 years. We do not use preservatives to keep the gelato from melting. We carefully control the temperature in the dipping tank and use the finest and freshest ingredients. That's right. Pinocchio's has been around since 1980. Pozzetti tubs are not used by the vast majority of gelaterias in the United States and Europe today. Using bright shiny silver covered Pozzetti tubs does not make for a perfect gelato. Ask anyone in the industry. Tom and I have been to Italy, France and Spain working with gelato artisans and prominent chocolatiers. Not one of these artisans with whom we trained used Pozetti tubs. All of our pans are covered every night. The fact remains that people LOVE to see what they are buying. They know the pans are fresh and prepared well. Discerning people like to see as well as taste what they will savor. Please consider these facts. I am more than happy to speak with you if you have additional concerns but it must be when I return from Italy in October. Thank you again.
