Dr Raju came highly recommended by my Physician. I wanted a thorough colonoscopy having recently lost a friend to cancer whos doctor didn't scope high enough. Dr Raju completed the procedure and then spent fifteen minutes with me reviewing the pictures he took as he performed the procedure. I recommend Dr Raju to all my friends.

I recently visited Dr. Raju for acid reflux that had suddenly started. During my first visit, he prescribed 40mg of Omeprazole and scheduled an endoscopy, which was a positive experience. However, during my follow-up visit to review the results, I felt rushed and unheard. Dr. Raju spent less than 20 minutes with me and seemed unconcerned about my discomforts, small Hiatal hernia and small presence of focal intestinal metaplasia. When I informed him that my reflux symptoms had not improved and that I was experiencing a terrible sour/bitter taste in my mouth 24hrs a day, he suggested that I learn to live with it or double my Omeprazole dose to 80mg. Despite my young age (27 years old), he refused to do any other tests and asked me to come back in 3 months. Overall, I was disappointed with Dr. Raju's lack of concern and willingness to explore alternative treatments or diagnostic tests. It left me feeling unheard and frustrated. Two months later, I am still experiencing reflux symptoms that occur 24 hours a day. This persistent issue has caused me to worry about potential long-term damage. I hope that in the future, he will take the time to listen to his patients and offer personalized solutions.
