Horizon One Dental

I deleted a previous 5 star review for Horizon One dental. My past few visits at Sage have been horrendous. The front staff are all new and do not seem to have a clue what is going on. The dental hygienist are unprofessional, and the prices are very different from Horizon. Very sad they got bought out and lost their best employees.

Lauren is wonderful!! Very thorough. But the office is really tough to deal with. I had to rebook a appointment with Lauren and could not. they would not answer the phone. I finally called corporate and told them to cancel altogether as it is ridiculous I am not able to reschedule conveniently. Horizon should not of sold to Sage. they seem greedy.

Do NOT use Sage Dental. Unfortunately, they bought out Horizon One which used to be at this location in Ft. Myers. Dr. Kuhn and Horizon One used to be great. No pressure or upselling. Youd just show up for your visit and a cleaning. Dr. Kuhn was the absolute best dentist, but I digress Sage Dental is just like Aspen. They focus on trying to squeeze all the money they can out of you and will do their best to insist on more expensive cleanings that arent necessary. Further, the hygienist I dealt with, I think her name was Kimberly, was abrasive and pushy. Her personality and disposition were definitely a turn off. She wasnt very good at all. She brought in a different dentist they called Dr. D. Why on earth would I not get to see my normal dentist, Dr Kohn, who still works there? This Dr. D was just as pushy and inappropriate with the upselling as the terrible hygienist. Dr. D dismissed me when I advised him Dr. Kuhn was my preferred and assigned dentist. I am 100% positive this nonsense would not have happened with Dr. Kuhn. They REFUSED to conduct a normal teeth cleaning because I politely declined the upselling cleaning option they wanted to do. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT GO TO SAGE DENTAL. Find a dentist that isnt a chain and with whom you feel comfortable. THIS PLACE AINT IT.
