McGregor Baptist Church

My wife is in the area working a traveling nurse assignment. My two college age children came to visit us for Christmas. I did a lot of online searching for a good church for us to attend. We went to the 5pm Christmas Eve candlelight service. The music and the message were exactly what we needed.

Went here yesterday and really enjoyed it. We were greeted at the door by Bev and she took us by the hand and answered all our questions. She even sat with us for the service. She is a real blessing to the church. We are going back to check it out more. We come from a small Georgia chuch, so a church this size is a daunting. We will follow-up after checking out life-groups (Sunday school). She said there are 35 of them. Wow!!

My family and I have been members of McGregor Baptist Church for 16 years. We started attending because they had the best children's programs around (and still do). Our children were constantly singing the songs they heard at church. Then they went through the youth group with Pastor Ben Flemming and could not be more pleased. The pastors and staff work so hard and are very dedicated. My wife and I have Life Group where we are with other couples our age who are going through the same struggles and triumphs that we are. We are thankful for the life long relationships that we have forged. There is Women's Ministry, Men's Ministry, Singles Ministries and dozens of discipleship classes to sharpen your walk with Jesus. There is a contemporary (loud music) venue and traditional venue (choir and orchestra) I think the church facilities are likely the best in Fort Myers. We don't attend because of that, but it makes the experience richer. Try it out!

The most godly bible based church. You are taught the word. Find a Lifegroup and you find a true family of friends. Everyone is so helpful in all ways. We could not be happier. My husband started coming after I prayed the first 20 yrs of our marriage. Amen. Thank you McGregor pastors and Starting Point and Harwood Lifegroup
