Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM)

Came into the bank to make a deposit when I overheard the bank teller tell an elderly man that "He should have written it down." Because the older man forgot what teller has told him. Plain rude & disrespectful. Waiting to speak w/the manager. (12/1/23)

Terrible location. Often closes early. Tuesday Morning female manager is a nightmare. I have had no problems depositing cash into my fathers account for months now. Never given a problem here or any other bank. Im 8 months pregnant and was told today I couldnt do it without a check or money order- its depositing CASH. Into an account. Not taking it out. Apparently all the other times the employees had the common sense to just override that dumb rule and deposit the cash for me. Even with my father on the phone this incompetent manager refused to do it. Told me it had been overrided every other time- which was never explained to me even once, so either train your employees to explain these concepts or adapt a streamlined approach. Either way you fail at your job, and I can extend a thank you to her for being the reason that myself, my father, and my mother are closing down our BOA accounts today. Good riddance. Hope your prideful power struggle works out in the future. Clearly if you have the ability to override and refuse to the one time youre called out, youre just being a jerk bc you think youre entitled. Now youve lost customers.
