One of the toughest things I run into with my dryer is that no one wants to work on it due to it being stacked. Apartments usually only leave room for stacked machines and luckily I do not have the washer and dryer attached to one another, but I have no choice but to have them stacked onto each other. Because of this, I'm either denied service or double charged labor due to needing 2 technicians.
Sergei didn't have a problem with my stacked dryer! I was amazingly surprised that he was able to work on my dryer without needing to bring it down. He took his time to figure out to true root cause of my problem (Samsung MultiSteam Ventsensor Dryer had the HC error code and vents/lint traps were already professionally cleaned out). It turned out that the dryer's heat sensor needed to be replaced. He didn't have the part so he had to return after ordering the part to finish the repair.
Sergei returned the very next day and completed the service! He even told me that it was odd that my sensor gave out since they should last a long time. I've owned these machines since Jan 31, 2018 and this was the first time I ever had them serviced, so I'm glad it was just the sensor and not the heating element!
Lee Appliance Repair takes all forms of payment, but if paying by debit/credit card, there is a 3.75% transaction fee. It is best to pay via Cash, Check, or Zelle and avoid the fee altogether.
One thing I will note: because Sergei takes his time to fully diagnose your issue, please be patient with him when he gives you a time frame of arrival and ends up being 1.5 hours late. He cares about taking responsibility of your full service needs and not just the error you're experiencing, and Sergei treats every call with this level of professionalism. He is worth the wait, and when he is done, you will feel assured that your appliance was serviced with high quality.
I thought that this service was going to cost me a lot. I priced diagnosis fees and labor fees with many other companies prior to deciding which I would follow through with making an appointment. No company would give me an average price range for the HC error code of a Samsung dryer (even when I told them the model numer). All will tell you that they have to send the tech out to diagnose and then will give you a quote. Many would say if you choose to continue with the repair, they may discount or remove the diagnosis fee. What they don't say is that if you cannot afford the repair at that time, you still have to pay the diagnosis fee.
I kept all of this in mind when Sergei came to my apartment and I expected the bill to be high. I WAS WRONG! When Sergei told me how much it would be total, I was happily shocked! Sergei told me he didn't have the part so I would have to pay a deposit and then pay the rest once service was complete. I was, and still am, so glad that it was such an affordable price to get my dryer running again.
I now have a fully functional dryer. I've done 4 full loads of laundry so far and have had 0 issues with drying. There are 0 symbols lit up on my Samsung's panel, and the clothes are coming out hot to the touch, so it is working as though it is brand spanking new! I also feel safe knowing that my sensor is now warranted for 6 months and if I should have any other issues, Sergei is just a phone call away!
Because of Sergei's attention to details and professionalism, I will be a repeat customer. Should my other appliances have any issues, I'm calling Sergei! Service: Dryer repair
