Island Bay Charters

This captain was incredibly knowledgeable about sea life and the Ft Meyers area. He is very professional and knows his fish. If youre looking for a good safe tour or fishing expedition this is the best you will find in South Florida.

We had an amazing day with Capt. Nick today. He made sure all of our poles were always baited and was extremely knowledgeable about all of the different varieties of fish we caught. Besides catching many fish and snagging a shark we also saw many dolphins, manatees, and rays. We would definitely recommend Capt. Nick. What an amazing day!

Went to the local bait shop looking for a recommendation for a charter for our family and they recommended Captain Nick with Island Bay Charters. Sure glad they did! We had a wonderful day fishing! Despite super windy conditions, he put us on the fish. We caught a variety of fish including snapper, sheepshead, ladyfish, catfish, and barracuda. We tried a variety of spots and, if the fish weren't biting in one area, he quickly moved us to the next. He worked really hard to make sure our hooks were constantly baited and our rods were consistently bent. As a bonus, we saw quite a few dolphins and even a couple manatee. Captain Nick was very professional and a hard worker. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to spend a day on the water!

Nick took our group of six women out for a sightseeing cruise today and I can highly recommend him! The boat is spotless and comfortable even for six. Nicks knowledge of the area, the waters and landmarks is thorough. He was flexible with our plans, finding a pretty, uncrowded beach for us to get out and wade. We were all very happy with our experience.

We have been on Captain Nicks tours twice this month and both were FUN and different from each other. Its so much fun to fish, we kept him busy, baiting hooks and teaching us how to cast. We all caught fish. The one in the picture was work to pull in and, of course, Nick, had his net ready. My grand kids loved it. It was also fun to tour and see wildlife and dolphins. We will take friends out next year when we come! Captain Nick is very informative and he has a way of making everyone feel welcomed. We highly recommend it!!!
