        First time visiting. Great experience on the third floor. Thanks to Constance in her new studio. Taking the time and interest to share her space with young and upcoming artists. Setting the pace for the future. Also sharing such wonderful space with different artists of other categories of art expression.

        I love how History Fort Lauderdale combines history and art to provide visitors with an awesome experience! History on the second floor and 6 artist studios on the 3rd floor. If you haven't been, it is definitely worth your time!

        For the New River Inn: They took half the house and gutted it for their own financial gain; all rooms on the first floor were empty for venue renting or left as exhibits for art irrelevant to the structure. It is unfair to the people who pay the $10 admission. Good thing I didn't, and I still got yelled at by an antique inn apparition for looking at the sad empty rooms on the first floor.

      Dear Redneck Rampage:None of the New River Inn has been gutted. All rooms remain in exactly the same configuration as 1905 Inn. The rotating exhibits on the first floor are tied to the National Heritage Months and always very well received. Currently we're featuring the AP Visual Arts students of the Dillard School for the Arts along with historic photos from our collection celebrating the local African American experience. Your comments will be shared with staff.
