I attended the 2 day QuickStart Training organized by BPM REIA. It was the most valuable 2 days I spent on learning how to become a Real Estate investor. Anish conducted the training and he had a number of speakers for key topics, such as: - Title company: what to expect from a title company as investors and how title companies geared towards investors can help you, - legal entity and tax set-up for your Real Estate business - how tax planning can help you maximize the money you keep from your deals, - Contractor discussing rehabbing houses including the do and don't, the cost of the different elements when fixing a house, - REIFAX (software to find and analyze deals). One of the best moment of the training was when we were separated in groups and each group had to analyze a deal and make an offer. That was pretty intense and made everything we had learnt over those 2 days so much more real. It was also a great learning tool. Bottom line, this was a very informative in-depth training and i recommend it to anyone who is serious getting started with real estate investing. The team at BPM REIA is local to Florida, so they know the ins and out of the market i am interested in. They practice what they preach, and they really want you to learn everything they know, so you get as successful as they are. I have tried other organizations to learn about real estate. They are big national outfits, and after paying a lot with those organizations, I have very little to show for it. They teach you a theoretical knowledge but nothing that you can really use immediately in your market to start as a real Estate Investor. BPM REIA is exactly the opposite. They are the missing link. They teach you things that are immediately actionable. You certainly cannot learn everything in 2 days but at least i feel they teach you enough to get started. The exercises, the case studies, the numbers they give you... in short everything they discuss is from the market I want to be involved with. That makes a huge difference! They also have a mentorship program if you want to dramatically accelerate your learning curve towards successful Real Estate investing.
