I usually wouldn't write a review this negative, but to be honest, I think it's important that people know what they're signing up for. If you're looking for EMDR, what Debra does is NOT it. I went to her thinking she was someone else I saw in that building years ago. If you want to pay money to lay in a lounger and listen to a walk man for two sessions, be my guest. She added zero value to my psychological well-being.

Dr Debra is very understanding, good listener and kind. Prompt and very efficient. Uses very good techniques. I definitely recommend her.

I saw Debra Tantillo for 2 months at the end of 2023. My goal was to quit smoking cigarettes. Having been unsuccessful with this in the past, I decided to try her biofeedback methods. I knew that its necessary to identify a quit date and asked many times when wed address that in our sessions. Instead, I was asked to buy pills from the vitamin store and during each session shed hook me up to devices that measured my breathing and heart rate and measured alpha and theta waves. These took 20 minutes from my 60 minute sessions. She sat at her desk on her laptop while I was hooked up to these devices. She suggested that at some point she wanted me to try EMDR, which would not be covered under my insurance and also mentioned a breathing device that lowers blood pressure for around $250. Im still smoking during these weeks of sessions! The first time I asked to change an upcoming appointment with her because of a scheduling conflict, she said I needed to get my priorities straight. She never provided another date and I never saw her or spoke to her again.
