    I would put negative stars if I could. Ive been in my apartment for a little over a year now and this management company has made my life a living hell. Ill start with the apartment itself,Im paying $1,400.00 a month to live in a tiny studio efficiency that has termites, rats, roaches, and all other sorts pests, the A/C unit was a window unit that someone half hazardously put in the wall, and it was leaking water and creating mold in walls for MONTHS until someone finally came and replaced the unit. And when someone did come, they sprayed white mold resistant primer on the wall and called it fixed until I made more complaints about the mold not being fixed. They also refused to send actual mold specialist, insisting that gmax employee was qualified to say there was no mold (he came, sniffed a chunk of moldy wall, and stated es no mold before staying primed over the mold). I have no fire alarm or Co2 detector in my apartment which Im pretty sure isnt even legal. And Ive had squirrels living in the attic for weeks, keeping me up all night with their scratching at the ceiling. The most Gmax will do is send someone to inspect the issue and then they close the maintenance request without any action. The last manager Sonia was rude, unprofessional, and completely ignorant to Florida tenant laws- repeatedly telling me that they would not investigate black mold or do anything about the broken A/C unit or the pest control issues and that the management company has the right to take more cost efficient measures. Not to mention, when I brought up the damage being done to THEIR property because of their laziness, I was told that my rental insurance should cover it so they wont fix it until Im out of the unit. I finally got them to tent the place and replace the unit after I threatened them. Gmax management ignores all issues until you threaten to break the lease because of all the violations. That is the ONLY time they will take action. I would never rent another Gmax property or recommend working with them in the future.

    I have to start by saying that my initial experience with them was terrible, when I moved in. However, Sonia (the only person I dealt with at the main office) has been extremely kind, helpful, and caring every time something came up. If it wasnt for her, I would have moved out long ago. Over the past months, Ive had the a/c break down, the refrigerator break down, the sprinklers stop working, the kitchen sink leak, and -most importantly- the water heater tank broke and flooded the entire house - damaging all my furniture, which I had to throw away. But Sonia was extremely helpful and supportive, which is what changed my outlook on the company. So, if you read this, thank you for everything, Sonia.

    If I could give a 0 star I would but google doesnt let. RUNNNN RUNNNN RUNNNNNNNNNNN!!! Never rent from these people. They are rude, and very unprofessional. I rented from them in Feb of this year with my husband and we lasted only 4 months in this place (also did a review with pictures of evidence.)Our apartment was INFESTED with termites. Even the pest control company said this was the worst theyve seen. The termites were already on our roof laying eggs and eating the wood. We lost all our furniture and they have an audacity to charge us.They definitely will be hearing from our lawyer if they dont refund us

    They are the worst company I have ever met. I have had a problem for several months because of an apartment that I rented from them that was infected with termites. They never resolved the problem properly and then they wanted us to give them the rent money while we had the termite problem in the apartment. Here I am going to leave you the evidence of the problem that they never solved. PS: they told us that they will send us a check after 30 days and what came was a warning letter saying that we have to pay them a total of more than $4,000 when they never resolved the termite problems
