Hes delivered my three children and my sister, and myself and many other friends and family of mine in the ft.Lauderdale area theres seriously no one like him if your struggling with finding the right dr hes it! Hell explain everything to you and will also listen to everything you have to say! His staff is wonderful and his office is immaculate!

waited 45 minutes for the doctor and just got up and left after not being seen. front desk was rude to a patient before me and I overall did not like the setting of the office.

UPDATE: 2/20/24 LEFT DR. "J" DUE TO ISSUES WITH HIS STAFF, AND WENT TO SEE A SPECIALIST. 3 YEARS LATER I DECIDED I WOULD SEE IF THINGS HAD IMPROVED, OR PERHAPS DR. J HAD A NEW STAFF AS I NO LONGER NEEDED TO SEE A SPECIALIST. I CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT AND THE GIRL/LADY WHO TOOK THE CALL WAS VERY SWEET AND HELPFUL. SAID I HAD NOT BEEN IN FOR 3 YEARS, AND I SAID YES, I WAS SEEING AN ENDOCRINOLOGIST. SHE MADE ME A NEW APPOINTMENT, TOLD ME OF THEIR NEW OFFICE LOCATION AND WAS SUPER PLEASANT. I WAS OPTIMISTIC THINGS APPEARED TO BE OFF TO A NEW AND IMPROVED START. UNTIL TODAY WHEN I ARRIVED FOR MY APPOINTMENT. THE WINDOW OPENED AND I SAID HELLO, I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. SHE SAID "NO I CANCELLED THAT APPOINTMENT" I WAS A BIT TAKEN ABACK, WHY WOULD SHE CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT AND NOT CALL ME? SO I ASKED WHY? SHE SAID "YOU HAVE BEEN DISCHARGED" CONFUSED I ASKED WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? SHE SAID YOU WROTE A REVIEW. I SAID, YES, SOME YEARS BACK, I DID, BECAUSE I WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH THE STAFF, NOT WITH DR. JOYNER. WELL YOU HAVE BEEN DISCHARGED, YOU ARE NO LONGER A PATIENT. I SAID, SO BECAUSE I WROTE A REVIEW ABOUT ISSUES I HAD YEARS AGO, I AM BEING DISCHARGED AFTER I WAS ALLOWED TO SET AN APPOINTMENT WITH NO WORD OR PROBLEM BEING RAISED 2 WEEKS AGO? THATS CORRECT. SO THE PROBLEM WAS ALL HER. SHE ( SONNY) IS OBVIOUSLY PART OF THE OLD STAFF WHO I INITIALLY COMPLAINED ABOUT. WHO PHONED IN PERSCRIPTIONS TO DEERFIELD BEACH INSTEAD OF PEMBROKE PINES. WHO BILLED MY INSURANCE COMPANY INCORRECTLY. WHO DID NOT CALL IN THE CODES TO QUEST WHEN I SAT THERE FOR HOURS WAITING TO GET BLOOD DRAWN. HER POOR JOB PERFORMENCE THEN, DOES NOT LEND ITSELF TO BEING 1 BIT MORE PROFESSIONAL NOW. SHE SUCKS AT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND HER PETTINESS OVER MY CRITIQUE OF HER POOR PRACTICES, IS NOW ALLOWING HER TO CANCEL ME. WELL PEOPLE, NOW YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WILL GET WHEN YOU DO BUSINESS AT THIS OFFICE. AND DR. JOYNER WHO I NEVER SPOKE BADLY ABOUT, GAVE HIS BLESSING TO HER ( SONNY) TO CANCEL ME, SO I GUESS IF HE IS OK WITH THIS, THEN YOU KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT IF YOU SELECT THIS DOCTORS OFFICE. TREATED BADLY BY HIS VENDICTIVE UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF. TOO BAD, SO SAD. BYE FELICIA. C U Next Tuesday! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I WILL NOT RETURN! Dr. Joyner is great. His staff......deep breath.......is the problem. Mistake, after mistake, after mistake. I have been a patient for years. On one occasion, I sat at Quest for hours waiting for his staff to call in the correct blood work. Hours! I let it go. One occasion two, the staff called my prescription in to a lab all the way in Deerfield Beach, I live in Pembroke Pines. Completely inconvenient! But the staff at the compounding pharmacy were nice, so I dealt with it. Now, this years screw up. I went in for appointment in January. They NEVER even called in my prescription at all, it is Feb 18th! But the fun doesn't stop there, I then get a bill for my visit?! I had recently changed employers so I contacted the insurance company prior to my visit to make sure I was covered and would not receive fees. So I was baffled as to why I was now receiving a bill?? They billed the wrong insurance company!! Then tried to blame the lab that they sent the paps test to. I can not deal with anymore mistakes. I will not go back ever. I refuse to deal with their mistakes any longer, causing me stress and inconvenience that I do not need. Time for a new doctor.
