Family Central INC

This is a great organization! They not only helped me 16 years ago with childcare for my two grandchildren who still reside with me today, but I also had the pleasure of working with them 2 years afterwards for 6 wonderful years. Family Central will always be part of my FAMILY!

I agree with alot of the negative post. When family Central was running the childcare program it was horrible they would treat people in such an inhumane way. Before you even sat down the counselor had already made her mind up that you were trying to chest the system. One time in particular I had thos Argentian blonde lady, and she went as far as ask personal question on how I paid for personal items, and say i know your lying but i cant prove it. I didn't know that being a single mom working as hard as I could while trying to provide for my kid was a crime. That day i left there so distraught, I had to go to the doctor with as i thought i was having a heart attack. The last time i was there, i had i think is Mrs Jones it was an older, well dressed, Haitian lady she sat on the left very first office. Wow that lady was nice. As she verified and reviewed my case (as she was supposed to) never made me feel like a criminal that i am not. I am simply a single mom trying to work to survive in a very expensive childcare world, without family to far back on. The new elc is a bit better online app, no long wait times, no inhumane treatment.

Great agency to work for. Supervisors of my department (family services) are very supportive of their employees' professional goals and open to suggestions from frontline staff.
