La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ft Lauderdale Cypress Cr

Im a recurring customer and I recommend La Quinta location. Depending on availability this La Quinta would honor an early checking. I was able to check-in at noon. The property is clean, offers full breakfast and is less than 5 minutes away from I95. Tanisha helped me at check-in. She was very polite, friendly and yet professional.The room I got this time is very nice. I think I must have gotten an upgrade. It has a stand up two doors fridge, kitchen sink, wall mounted microwave and small dishwasher. Very confimattresses. Affordable prices. Food & drinks: Fast food restaurants within walking distance.

I stayed one night before the cruise, the hotel is old and the rooms smell a lot of tobacco. We were asked to sign a waiver at the entrance stating that smoking was prohibited and there was a smell of tobacco everywhere, it felt like entering a casino. I don't recommend the hotel Rooms: Rooms with old furniture and strong tobacco smell

If you can avoid this hotel at all cost, try to find something else in the area even though it may cost a little bit more. This hotel is highly overpriced for the condition of the property in the rooms. Im a reservation 10 days in advance with La Quinta. The dates that I was going to stay there for four nights I requested a room on the first floor the two double beds. I was told by the person that took the reservation over the phone which happened to be their corporate office they would put down my request and because Im reserving early there should be no problem The day before I was to arrive I called personally the hotel talk to the front desk and again we went over my reservation and they said yes I see you want to be on the first floor in a double bed I will put that down there should be no problem. I have you set up for a late arrival. After they accepted my credit card for payment, I was told that the room I requested was unavailable but I had to have a room on the fourth floor with one king bed when I asked why wasnt my room available for me when I requested, it was told I could get it I was I was told that its up to them at the time whether theres available rooms or not, I was told if I wanted to check back the next morning if there was something else opening up that we could move down to the first floor if my room that I requested became available Next morning. I went to the front desk check with the girl and she asked me to check back with her at 11 oclock as people were still checking out I checked back at 11:30 after we had breakfast at McDonalds next-door and was told that there were no rooms available on the first floor even though I could see people leaving their rooms on the first floor with their luggage and walking out the door that are cars. I was told that I would have to have either the room they gave me or I could move to another room on the third or second floor I said well whats the sense of that if I cant get the first floor and Ill just stay where I am Which I did on our last night stay we had to go down to the keys for a funeral. We were gone all day got back at around 10 and found out that our room had not been cleaned or serviced I went down to the front desk and set up. Ive been here now going on four days. Why was my room not clean The woman looked me up and act like she didnt even know that Ive been staying there. She said shes sorry theres no maid on service now, but you could have fresh towels, I said, but you have garbage overflowing in both garbage cans in the room, which have unfortunately had food in them because we ordered to go, and there are no garbage cans outside the hallway to put these things in the room smells like Rotten food. We have no clean sheets on the bed and again youre giving me just two towels and a washcloth thats supposed to make up for the cost of the room which is happens to be over $100 a day when you guys for some reason could not see that there was someone staying in that room and that needed to be SERVICE, she said theres no manager on duty now youll have to check back in the morning when you check out to talk to GM and see if she could adjust your rate of your room to compensate your lousy service you received, and she actually used those words the lousy received from them when I checked out, I was told that the girl arent doing it was not the general manager that she cannot do anything for adjusted the cost of my room for what was done and that she just could say that she was sorry so this just happened to me two days ago as of this date again I say if you do not need to personally stay there for some reason do not go to this hotel I stated probably 15 to 25 La Quinta across the country and Ive never had a problem, but the buildings happen to be an older property or brand new. Im actually staying in one hotel right now in Tifton, Georgia operated by La Quinta, perfect no problems friendly staff rooms are clean anything that you need theyre there to help you . Rooms: The rooms are old and out dated bathroom and room doors do not close as they are out off off off of the frame
