Powerhouse Gym Fort Lauderdale at the Galleria Mall

This is my second review. It has improved even from my last (good) one. Can be crowded at peak times but that's because it's great especially for eastern FtL clients.

Could be so much better with a little investment. Some are minor and some would involve more substantial costs. with Amped opening down the street it appears a lot of members have moved over because its brand new and half the price. Maybe use this opportunity to reinvest in the gym, make it better, make it higher end so people join or stay because they see it. Some ideas and suggestions: Get rid of the back studio and expand the weight area Bring in newer equipment. Not saying replace everything (hammer strength always stays the same) but newer fixed weight machines or just replace the really old ones or ones that are breaking Fix the shower faucets so they all work and theyre all HOT water. Its sad when a simple upgrade to faucet and shower head isnt done. Still broken equipment and now missing stair masters (which have been busted for awhile) Maybe add amenities like shampoo and conditioner. Or all in one body wash/shampoo and conditioner. It looks like maybe the music (sound system was finally fixed as opposed to a loud Sony speaker placed in one corner of the gym)

Great gym with premium equipment and a great view. Front desk staff was very helpful and provided quick and easy service while purchasing day passes, drinks, and apparel. We visited twice over the span of our stay here.
