If you want to be treated with HORRIBLE customer service. This is the place for it. The Somali/Sudanese cashier with a patch in the back of his head cashed out 2 people ahead of me and my daughter and then once we get to the front he tells me I am off from work and leaves. No conflict was made beforehand. Ive never had any issues with any beauty exchange location besides this one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION AT ALL.

Go to place for hair and beauty needs but the staff is not very friendly or helpful. Got help from a fellow shopper.

BUYER BEWARE of pricing fixing! I am warning every customer to pay close attention to the price on the sticker and then what comes up on the register which is more than the sticker price. The cashier tried to convince me that the sticker price was wrong which I didn't accept and this is why. I perused the store for a specific hair gel and then noticed the one I selected was placed in 3 different locations (around the store) all of which had different prices - same gel, same size and by the same company. The cost was $8.99 but rang up for $17.99??? I also purchased other items and 3 in total came up at different prices than the sticker price. The cashier made the adjustment and I paid for my items. This store have a NO REFUND policy so you must catch it before you pay for the merchandise. However, I was troubled that this happened. When I got to my car, I checked the receipt and found that I missed an item that cost $4.99 but rang up at $7.99. I immediately returned to the store and was making noise - warning customer in line what just happened to me. To quiet me down the owner (not the cashier) gave me another one. How long has this store been overcharging the customers? I am reporting this incident to the BBB and Consumer Affairs and will never go back.

Review of Beauty Exchange #01 1020 W, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33311: As a retired General Manager of Fortune 500 companies with forty years of experience and a former Buyer of a Major Department store, I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience at Beauty Exchange. Despite being a loyal customer for three years, I encountered a troubling "bait and switch" tactic during my visit on 3/13/2024 at 7:32 p.m. Upon entering the store and noticing a product with a displayed price, I was shocked to discover that the actual price was $10.01 higher. When I raised this discrepancy with the sales clerk, Mohamed, he explained that pricing decisions were beyond his control as an employee. This response was unsatisfactory, as it reflects poor business practice and a lack of accountability. Having been in retail management and buying for decades, I have never encountered such deceptive pricing tactics. It is unacceptable for a business to mislead loyal customers with false pricing information. I have attached a picture of the product clearly displaying the advertised price for reference. In conclusion, my experience at Beauty Exchange was deeply disappointing, and I urge the owner to reconsider their pricing policies to uphold integrity and trust with customers.
