Don't hesistate on making that decision! I was referred to Kemie about 3 years ago and I made the best choice by doing so. There will never be enough grattiude in expressing how much she was helpful and dedicated to this 3 year long journey. Through all the ups and downs she told me like it is and we always worked through and for that im grateful ! thank you Kemie !! :)

Corrupt! Should be disbarred! She Definitely Doesn't Care About A Child's Best Interest.
I am compelled to write this review to express my profound dissatisfaction and concern regarding the conduct of Guardian Ad Litem Kemie King, who was appointed in my case by the General Magistrate. My experience with Ms. King has been deeply troubling, and I believe it is essential to share these concerns for the benefit of others who may find themselves in a similar situation.
Upon her appointment in September 2022, I hoped Ms. King would bring a fresh perspective to my ongoing custody case and help facilitate a fair and just outcome. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from this expectation.
Despite paying a substantial retainer fee and making repeated efforts to engage with Ms. King, her responsiveness and professionalism have been severely lacking. She repeatedly failed to respond to my calls and changed scheduled visit dates without justification. More concerning was her request for personal gifts, such as Chanel perfume and Chanel purse, which I felt compelled to provide in the hope of advancing my case a situation that should never arise in a professional setting.
Ms. King's visit to my residence was delayed by months and, when it finally occurred, was marked by unnecessary requests and unfulfilled promises to return for follow-up. Her approach seemed unbalanced, focusing disproportionately on allegations from the Respondent/Mother's side without considering my position and efforts to comply with her requests.
The bias in Ms. King's approach became more evident over time. Her interactions with my former spouse were marked by unprofessional and intrusive behavior, and her communications showed apparent favoritism toward the Respondent/Mother. This perceived bias was further compounded by her failure to act on significant issues, such as the welfare check I requested for my child.
Perhaps most concerning was Ms. King's decision to forgo a written report in favor of an oral presentation at the final hearing, a move that seemed to lack transparency and accountability. This, coupled with her failure to inform me of crucial developments such as the child's relocation and school change, speaks to a troubling lack of professionalism and disregard for the responsibilities of her role.
In conclusion, my experience with Guardian Ad Litem Kemie King has been deeply disheartening. Her conduct has not only failed to meet the standards of professionalism and impartiality expected in her role but has also added to the distress and complexity of an already challenging situation. I sincerely hope this review will serve as a caution to others.

While engaged in a three-year separation and grueling divorce process, I was recommended by one of the TOP South Florida criminal attorneys to "Kemie"! I retained Kemie after battling for two years with my ex! She made no promises but assured me that she would do her best to get me to the finish line. Most important to me, is that she was honest and realistic about what to expect in the end (good and bad), and we settled on an agreement that was fair! Kemie was ALWAYS available to address my concerns and I could call/text her directly, even after hours during an emergency. As a wife/mother herself, she understood and was emotionally vested in my case and the ongoing care of my children. While presenting my case, Kemie always took note of the devious tactics of the opposing counsel and the potential judicial responses. She "knew her audience" and she fashioned and targeted "our goals" step by step "as a team"! I was often at my breaking point, but she kept me encouraged, devised legal plans, coordinated hearings, and contacted expert witnesses (without my knowledge) all in an effort to fairly dissolve the marriage - and it ALL WORKED and we reached a settlement! Many attorneys have costly hourly rates, separate secretarial/legal assistant fees, and other "just because" fees. Not Kemie, her fees are MORE than fair, and I felt empowered in that I was getting a "team" service with every court/legal exchange. Ultimately, she's worth every penny! In the end, she was proactively clinched and ready for trial and because of her skillful approach and legal knowledge, my trial day actually turned into a "Dissolution of Marriage" date! Despite the dissolution, she was still bothered by some aspects of the settlement agreement, but I valued her continued support/concern. Neither my ex, nor his attorney showed ANY concern for my children. In fact, in three years I only received $1,300 in support and they wanted a REFUND in order to settle (petty)! I was so emotionally/financially drained and about to make an emotional decision and Kemie said "HELL NO"! She forced them into a settlement that made sense of cents and in the end, the peace of mind is priceless! She also devised a Parenting Plan that relieves me and my children of ongoing stress and control tactics from my ex! I can never thank Kemie enough - and all I can say is, "If you want divorce attorney who will allow you to be emotional; one who will translate your emotion into legal responses; and one who understands that kids' interests must be protected post-divorce"? Put Kemie on your team! From beginning to end, she totally understood the assignment. Until the very last court minute, she fought to protect and preserve the interests of me and my children with total integrity.
