Berkshire Lauderdale by the Sea Apartments

The apartment building may have some of its own problems and issues at times, but the front office personnel and maintenance staff are what makes this place run. Theyre truly the best part about living here. Big thanks to Paul, Jesus, Danika, and Kiera.

Best place to move to. Amazing building, staff and maintenance crew. Everything was always pristine and beautiful. 5 stars forsure.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING TO LIVE HERE. A wonderful place to live, where we feel safe and loved by everyone here. We notice that everyone works hard to keep the place always clean, safe, and enjoyable. I want to express my sincere thanks because my family and I are loving this experience. I don't remember the names of everyone involved, but I want to thank Danika very much for her excellent service and help throughout the process. I also want to thank the guys who assisted us with the move, and the cleaning ladies who are always very kind. God bless each one who makes this place a wonderful place to live.

Although I considered it, I didnt move here but recommended the place to a friend. It was a nice building, close to work and the beach and what I assumed was a win. Untillllll..the roach infestation became a thing. Upon move in she didnt see any and things were all peaches and cream then they started coming from the walls in the kitchen and because of the countertop color you wouldnt even notice them initially until they started getting out of hand. A neighbor on the elevator just so happen to ask if we had the same problem, as shes having them as well. She never had roaches, and she always treats her place with ortho home defense prior to furniture move in. But past the roach infestation and the time consuming elevator to the garage which can go down for weeks at a time, its okay.

Update - A year after moving out its become even more evident Berkshire is run incredibly and just such a great place to live. I wish I never left and am considering going back even if it's a much longer commute to work. Just moved out after 3 years at the Berkshire. My 3 years here have been exceptional. If I didn't have to move to a different area I would not have moved out. As you search, remember there is no such thing as a perfect place. You want to find a property where the cons are minor if that. With that being said Things that stood out. - Outstanding Management and staff. I've lived in 8 different rental properties over 15 years and the team here is by far the best I've encountered. - Great location- north enough to be away from Fort Lauderdale craziness but South enough to enjoy it's good stuff - Great units, great value - Nice sized, priced right - Tons of Guest parking - Makes the most out of common areas. One of the few places that still has a hot tub.
