    I purchased a mattress from the store that was defective. The warranty process was frustrating. My claim kept getting denied until we selected the option to have a representative do it. It was finally accepted and I was told to go to the store to select a replacement mattress. I went back to the Fleming Island store And the experience was almost as frustrating as the warranty process. I walked into a store with no customers but two employees eating their lunch at the desk in the showroom. They both seemed bothered that I was interrupting. When I handed them the warranty letter, they said they did not know how to process this, but they would try. They asked me what type of mattress I wanted and I explained I wanted the same one that my husband bought from them a few years ago. They told me they dont have it and asked to try several similar mattresses. I repeatedly asked them to look up my account and see if the one I am requesting is available somewhere else. Once they did, they told me that the mattress that I wanted has been discontinued and was not available. I told them when we first bought the mattress we were told something similar, but the store was ultimately able to order it , so I wanted to know if they could do the same today. One employee told me that I might want to try to go to other stores because they have more inventory than their store. I asked him if he could look up in the computer, to see the inventory other stores had available rather than making me drive across the city to find the mattress that I wanted. They finally were able to log into the system and ultimately found the mattress I was looking for at another store. One employee took the time to call to make sure that it was the one that I wanted and that it was not a used mattress. I appreciated that extra effort, but could have done without her using curse words in our conversation. The other employee continued to eat his lunch. I was able to get the mattress that I wanted but it was frustrating that I had to ask them to do things that would seem a regular part of delivery good customer service. As I was leaving, they were gracious, but made a point to comment that they thought I was difficult but were glad they could help me. Overall, it was a very odd interaction. It just felt unprofessional and so much could have been avoided.
