Was told no one had an app in for a rental. Spent all day sending needed documents to them. Forgot to pay the fee because I never rent anything. Spoke with the agent all day and evening and was never given a reminder when I asked if they had all they needed from me. The next morning Im told, AFTER they took someone elses app and fee and put them ahead of me, basically I didnt get it because I had forgot to pay the fee. So, make sure you pay THE FEE if putting a rental app in with them. But then again, it may determine who you are if you even get it then. Because never really, did they act like they really wanted my business.

This company is unethical, unprofessional liars.  They looked at my property before I ever met them at it, they met me and said they had no problem renting it, and then the next morning when I was expecting documents to look over, they said my property does not meet their "portfolio" with no explanation even after I asked why?  Why did you say you could handle renting it, made me drive 3.5 hours to meet you, said when meeting me all was fine, then email me the next morning to say you mysteriously cannot handle it?  Aside from this utter lack of professionalism, the person I met was so unprofessional- did not bring any documents to sign in case I did want to enter a contract with them, made many rude comments about having "too many" dishes"  (who decides whether 20 or 40 dishes is too many??  They are for different occassions!), and she even asked me why I would have some pictures on my wall and to take them down- it is a picture of a BOAT at a BEACH HOUSE where the THEME is BOATS!!  I told her it was decorative. What kind of lunatic management rep insults the owner and asks why they have a boat picture up?  Talk about outrageous.  Stay away!!!!

Debra is consummate in her knowledge, and patient with her clients. She always added information without making us feel ignorant! And Melanie is so responsive and competent with her property management information. Thank you both!

1st, I have never written a bad review in my life! However, I do feel that this warrants a comment!  I have rented from Selby for the past several years and have had a great relationship. Of course, there have been no issues either until this year.  We traveled to Flagler beach and rented again this year. We were not aware that the road was being worked on right in front of condo and Selby did not tell us until the Wed. before our arrival. No choice but to continue with plans at this point.  Construction crew was using the lot right next to condo and beach access was moved about a 1/4 of mile down the beach, view was obstructed as well.  I called 4 times and sent an email during the week asking the property manager to call me. Never even responded......a simple apology would have gone a long way! I am very disappointed. Thought my loyalty to them over the past 6 years would mean something...sad but I guess it doesn't.

The selby group nothing but thieves an liars dont trust this group. Not professional at all just a cover up from Wingo and Melanie in cahoots of ripping people off. Would not rate them but have to do so to post this.......
