Be very careful before you buy in the sun community or at least in the Hacienda Del Rio. I only bought two months ago, was in the office signing papers at 4:45 and they gave me a prospectus tell me to read it when I got home. Since then I have had several very bad experiences here, the biggest one being with a very rude arrogant and aggressive confrontational manager named Tiffany please be aware that though they own the property and you pay 1000.00+ monthly you have to hire your own arborist to cut and maintain your trees,running into thousands, the majority of homes have illegal plumbing and must be replaced 4,000. After I went to the office, they finally put it in a newsletter the next month. I started out with sun realty but found a home 3 doors down that was just being listed with four star. I was told by Tiffany that after 3 notices to have this huge tree branches all cut down,I would be evicted and it was my problem. As she was yelling at me,she also said they don’t have to disclose anything before you buy and it was my problem, . It cost 3000$ to have the black mold I found removed, and that was after a inspection. I am on a fixed income,but she said that was my problem. I was a nurse superviser and had to handle many situations,but if sun is smart they will fire Tiffany and get a real manager. I am writing this for anyone who plans on buying in hacienda del Rio,so they will not have to experience what I have.
