Dr. Michael Somai, DMD (Eagle Eye Dental)

I wrote a honest review a year ago and how I didnt feel that Doctor Somai didnt space my crown properly and now when I try to schedule an appointment I just get scheduled 3 months out and then they do the same exact thing when my appointment gets close. Im about to give up totally on this Doctor. But it sucks because Ive spent over 10 grand on my teeth with him.

I had my appointment today and Melissa at the front desk was so very kind and helpful in answering all my questions and my hygienists name was Lucky and Im telling you I sure was lucky because no dentist appointment is fun and very stressful but he sure did a wonderful job and made me feel very comfortably .. thank you Melissa and Lucky

put a crown I paid over $1000 for out of pocket on a tooth with a covert infection. It kept bothering me, I went back and he told me to wait it out. He also said I had a lot of cavities. I eventually went to another dentist, we had to extract the tooth with the new crown on it. Only found 1 (one) cavity to fill. I suffered with headaches for a long time while I was waiting for something to heal that could never heal. Even a year after the extraction I'm still suffering. Are these recognized standards of care?

Spent over ten grand to have to live with a gap in between a crown he set next to my tooth. Food always gets stuck there. He tried twice to fix it but has given up. I suppose if I had insurance I would get different treatment. But I paid out pocket. I got all kinds of things done like fillings, crowns, root canals and endless cleanings. Im just so unhappy about this gap. The doctor claims my teeth are shifting apart and calls it my fault. But none of my teeth are moving except for the crown he put in. I recently reached out to him for a fix. But no response. I guess I have to go somewhere else or pay him more money to make me live with something I hate.I write the review because he hasnt tried to get me fixed back to normal. So beware I suppose. Unless of course if you have insurance. Then they would be like your lawyer and defend you. But pay cash and you arent getting nothin. If my teeth were shifting then others would annoy me. But its been over a year and nothin has moved. He will grind your teeth to a nothin and put a crown on and not seal it properly. Decay gets in and then he extracts your teeth. He is trying to make you a repeat customer not a happy one.
