Please reference Google reviews for Marc Rutenberg homes on background of non-payment. Bill Kimpton represents Marc Rutenberg in my experience. Why would an attorney represent a business owner who routinely fails to pay their bills? Why would this attorney be willing to involve themselves in this charade? It seems the only motivation is money. Marc Rutenberg owed Burgess Civil $300K for completed work for a 6+ Month period. Bill Kimpton represented Marc Rutenberg during this process and was the middle man between Burgess Civil and Marc Rutenberg. Bill was cordial to deal with and eventually helped facilitate full payment. However to represent Marc's interest when he was clearly in the wrong and failed to pay both the contractor and Engineer on the project leads me to believe Kimpton's firm is only motivated by putting more money in their own pockets. Even if this is at the expense of the contractors hard earned funds that were at stake. Contractors please beware if contacted by Bill Kimpton on behalf of Marc Rutenberg.
