Beware. You will get towed even if you are in a spot. Even if you are technically across the driveway. The towing company comes through and places a warning stickers on your car at 2:15am and then tows it away by dawn. $400 cash to get your car back if they answer. Their mailbox is full. Such a waste.

DO NOT USE VACASA FOR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OR STAY AT A VACASA PROPERTY!!! They will destroy your house, not answer calls for maintenance. I have multiple homes with property managements companies.. they are THE WORST! Not to mention they will fraudulently charge you for owners cleans and maintenance and you will never be reimbursed! They will not give your your sign on bonus! In 3 months they have let over 25k in damage be done to our property!!!

Our house in the villages of Crystal beach was managed by My Vacation Haven. Avoid them at all costs! We vacation in Destin multiple times a year, and this is by far the worst experience weve had. We arrived to a dirty house that I had to re-clean. Beds were very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs. Some of the linens had human hair on them. The counters still had food crumbs. Floors werent cleaned. Bunk room smells of mold/mildew and I had to clean the spots of the window. No one could sleep in that room due to the smell and quality of the beds. We have two asthmatics who both ended up needed an urgent care visit while we were there. The AC is okay at best. Definitely not cold and its only May. They have plastic mattress covers which made the already uncomfortable beds hot and more uncomfortable. We ended up having to go purchase air mattresses and pillows in order to sleep. Security harassed us about parking when the sign said 3 cars, they still made us move 1 to overflow which is not close to the house at all. We made sure no tires were on sidewalks or in the road and they told us it didnt matter. Very inconvenient for elderly/disabled parents. I called twice and sent multiple emails about our concerns and it took until the morning of checkout for anyone to acknowledge any of our concerns outside of parking. I offered to pay the difference to switch to another rental and they just didnt even respond to that email. They offered no solution or discount. They asked for proof from a doctor that the house caused the asthma issues. Just an unbelievable experience. Stay anywhere else!
