Margaritaville - Destin

The food was terrible. It tasted like it was microwaved from the freezer. I had the seafood trio. The fish was so small it looked like children's fish sticks. It was burnt and bland, no seasoning whatsoever. It was like I was biting into water. The coconut shrimp was decent. The other shrimp that came with the trio was the only thing that had flavor aside from the fries. I was charged for a condiment that I didn't receive. They automatically charge 18% gratuity along with a Harbor Village fee. I got the seafood trio and a burger and paid over $70. It was a waste of money, time, and using my taste buds. The service was good aside from the waitress charging twice for a condiment when I only got one after asking for it more than once. We received it close to us leaving. This was one of my worst dining experiences ever. This place is over hyped and only successful because of the celebrity name attached to it. Everyone in our dining party was disappointed. The atmosphere was good because we were able to look out and see the beautiful water.

I always enjoy visiting Margaritaville whenever we are at a destination where one happens to be. I enjoy the different food choices they have, but I think the cheeseburger in paradise is still my favorite. I am a fan of Jimmy Buffett and was very surprised at his passing. I am thankful that I got to enjoy his music and attend 2 of his concerts. Rest in peace Jimmy.

One of our orders (food) did not make it to our table. By the time we could get our waiter's attention, we were almost done eating!

IF I COULD LEAVE NO STARS I WOULD. THIS IS PLACE IS A JOKE. Avoid this place at all costs! We came I'm to eat, 5 girls.. sat down ordered... ordered drinks, had about 1 sip if that.. A Black or dark man not even sure couldn't understand him bc he seem "gay", ( guessing a manager- VERY UNPROFESSIONAL) told me ee were "cut off" came to us and basically said we were cut off!!! WHY?! The server was on something... bad. Completely odd, weird and talking about us at the bar. We have absolutely no idea. We were not loud.. JUST got served drinks. And they wanted to cut us off??? WE WILL NEVER be back. We have never been in a situation like this before. And how can you cut someone off that hasn't drank a drink that literally was just served to you, I'm not sure. We felt so discriminated. However we tip like 5 times our bill, so it was his loss. There are no words for how this manager approached and acted. --- ALSO ODD THEY TOOK THEIR REVIEW TAB DOWN. Everything was so shady, and uncomfortable!!!!!

Loved our host David F, he was very nice and even told us his favorite dishes. will definitely come back.
