After 14 years of surfing I still remember my very first waves! That special feeling was the reason I became a surf instructor with Waves Surf Academy, and why I am so passionate about what I do. Teaching surf lessons has been a thrill because of the amazing students we have at WSA. Our locations make it easy for free parking, beach access, and consistent waves. I am excited to grow with Waves and continue spreading the stoke!

I've been surfing for a long time, but I was losing my skill because of not doing it for so long. An instructor named Ryan gave me pointers and a little pop up refresher. He had some other responsibilities, but he managed that and me very well. I worked just up the beach at Delray Beach Surf Camp for years. So I know the challenge of multitasking especially when young kids are in the mix. Ryan, thanks for your help in getting me back out there!

Waves academy is the best! The owners are the sweetest most down to earth and caring people. They are super passionate about the ocean, surfing, and what they do. they are naturals and the kids love it! Highly recommend Waves Academy!

I had the best time of my life learning to surf with Waves! Ryan taught me a lot about the ocean, how the moon and winds impact the tides, reading the water & a ton of cool surf terms. The location is GREAT (sandy, so it doesnt hurt when you fall) and the instructors will text you in the morning with a surf report letting you know what you can expect from the waves. Everyone on the Waves team that I had a chance to interact with, Christina, Ryan & Eddie, was super nice & responsive. Booking lessons was easy even though I know they had to have been swamped with the Spring Break rush. I had an awesome time during my individual lessons and my friends still talk about the group lesson we had when they came to visit. Truly the best experience. Thank you all SO much for being the absolute best part of my time in Florida. Cant wait to catch some waves with you all again soon!
