The Seagate Hotel & Spa

Our flight landed at 9pm on Friday night and when we arrived at the hotel they told us "we understand you are celebrating a special occasion but unfortunately we do not have a room for you tonight and you will be staying in the Hyatt and are welcome to come back tomorrow when we do have a room". We were spending over $800 a night and they tried to throw us in a $150 a night Hyatt. We were told that none of the other hotels had availability, however, we walked over to Opal Grand that night (10pm) and they had a room for us immediately. The Seagate refused to pay for our room at the Opal Grand or comp us for any of our other aspects to the trip (not even a drink by the pool). When we returned the following morning they put us in a suite but it was covered in black mold. The food at the beach club was also a joke, waited 1hr for the "flatbread" in which was just cold cheese on grilled bread. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We have tried multiple times to contact management and no one has returned our call.

Wonderful hotel ! Large rooms and great service . Love the beach club too Spa book Caroline The Healer for a massage: Her hands are magic and she is kind and professional- I had some deep pain in my back and she took the time to really work out the issue and pamper me! Hands down the BEST massage l ever had - the spa was lovely - can't wait to come back again

Excellent experience, hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Room was spacious and modern, beds were very comfortable. Staff were all friendly and courteous.

We were given a week at the Seagate as a gift from a friend from March 1-9 2024. I wish I could tell our friend his money was well spent and we could refer friends or family to this hotel but that certainly is NOT the case!! For a fee of over $500 per night, our room was very outdated overlooking a roof, and that was it!! No dinners were included, no massages, the pictures on the website lead you to believe there are rooms overlooking the ocean in reality the hotel is a couple of blocks away from the ocean. The main reason I am writing this negative review is the surprise the Seagate gave us at checkout, a $300.00 + charge to park our car in there ramp after my friend paid them $4000.00 plus for our stay. When questioning the front desk about this charge, the lady rolled her eyes and said that it was in the fine print.
