    Buyer Beware!!! I had one(softener) that never worked from the start. Many calls and even more Emails. Have been blown off. Many resets, adjustments, re installs...everything. Would not soften water. No offer of help or a solution. Replaced with another brand and it works fine from start. Ripped off to the tune of almost 900$ !

    Over a year ago I purchased the larger UV system and had it professionally installed, and used it for over a year. I thought it was a good purchase until I tried to replace the UV light and realized Pelican had mistakenly sent me the smaller, less expensive UV system over a year ago. First, they offered to send me the smaller replacement lamp without pointing out the error. Once I realized, they offered to send me the larger system I had originally bought but refused to pay for having it reinstalled. Now they won’t reply to my emails. Do not purchase from here, they do not treat you well after initial purchase. ***UPDATE*** pelican reached out after reading my negative review and said they would send someone to replace the faulty system but that was 3 months ago and we have followed up multiple times but they ignore us and do not return calls. BAD COMPANY!!!!!!!!

    Horrible experience. We bought the Mac daddy so we’d never have to worry about water issues. We’ve never stopped dealing with issues. Black water, sulfur smell, delayed service, long long waits for scheduling service, it goes on and on. They come out, check things out, replace a part that sticks, say the system is working properly. 3 different plumbing companies disagree. Carbon particles in the water and they never checked the carbon filter or rebedded it. So sorry to have to give a horrendous review but it is what it is. We are replacing this system and cutting our losses. Every time they came out it was another hefty charge and never fixed the problems for good. Very disappointed and feel there’s no recourse.

    I called in to schedule a water test. Upon Mathew's understanding that we are building a home and are opting to live in a temporary structure during the build he stated it was too premature to put a pentair/pelican water filtration system on the property. He stated he would tranfer me to the scheduling department to schedule the water test. I was transferred to another sales rep who was not in the scheduling department. I had to explain the scenario again, she then put me on hold and put me back in the rotation. I then spoke with Orlando who stated neither of the agents I spoke to prior entered me into their system and neither of them transferred me to the scheduling department. Orlando was kind, responsive and courteous. He created my profile and then transferred me to the scheduling department in which we were able to schedule a water test. In my opinion this is a sales team disaster. Pre judging clients once the notion of manufactured home/rv was mentioned. We plan to build our dream home with three wells on a large parcel of land. One well for the farm, one for the ADU, and one for the main dwelling. In my opinion I had to jump through hoops just because a sales agent didn't want to lose their opportunity at a commision in the sales rotation or hurt their closing percentage, again, this is my opinion. A BBB complaint is on its way.

    If I could give Pelican water systems a negative star on quality, and customer service I would. I have had nothing but problems since 2 months after I got the system installed. First the tech that installed the system originally put too much Chlorine in the tank, which caused the filter to burn out. They fought me for weeks to get that fixed. After weeks I finally got the new tank put in, then 3 months go by, and suddenly my water smells like rotten eggs and is brown. They still refuse to send out a technician unless I pay over a $100, after I spent over 7k and fell for their scammer sales reps.
