Sunset King Lake RV Resort

First of all, a disclaimer, we did not stay at this park. We did go and took a self-tour. The office people are very friendly and helpful. The pool, hot tub, activity center, with lots of things happening, were all very nice and the 3 or 4 people we talked to were very friendly and said nothing but good things about the park. The roads to the lots are very tight. The lots are side by side and very close to each other. For us this was a huge draw back and we like some room between us and the neighbors. We are more custom to staying at state parks and other private RV parks that have more room around you. If being really close to your neighbor's lot is not a big deal this would be a great place to stay I would believe. If you have a dog it does have a "Doggy Park" where you can let you pet run a little and that was one thing we really thought was good about this place. Cost per month was normal in the $600-$700 range +tax & electricity.

We stayed at this park about 2 years ago for a week and loved how quiet it was. The bathroom/shower rooms are very nice and large. We are hoping to return this coming winter for 3-5 months.

Quiet and relaxing park. Many amenities offered to all visitors. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Recently moved into this great community. Staff and residents all seem friendly in this little community on King lake. The cabins are cute, there's a beautiful large pool and a large Jacuzzi, multiple public fire pits, a playground for kids, dog park for our 4 paw kids, fishing piers and boat ramp with fish cleaning areas and multiple water riding rentals like canoes and paddleboats, and a community building for scheduled activities such as resident meals, group activities such as bingo, ladder golf and karaoke out by the largest fire pit n gazebo. So far this Rv resort has provided enough options for everyone who wants to participate in social activites.
