I took my daughter there to see if she even qualified to be able to work. I brought some of her doctors notes. She has several health and mental obstacles to being able to work but we were hoping for some guidance as to what she might be able to do. They did not do any evaluations. Just sent her to an employment agency.
We went in when she was in severe pain from a migraine, arthritis and firbromyalgia. She was told they could reschedule because her health was more important, but then told her she was expected to come in ready to work the next time. She showed up and was reprimanded for having a chronic illness that she has no control over!
Then an IPE meeting was set up without any evaluations being done at all. The job goals set up were completely unrealistic. Sye didnt meet most of the criteria required for the job set up. We were told they just had to have something down in writing.
I talked to some of the higher ups in voc rehab down in Orlando yesterday and was told that it was all being done wrong and that we need to seek another VR counselor.
A one is too high of a rating for this place but it won't let me give it a zero.

I went through Voc Rehab after being diagnosed with epilepsy. Not only was my job coach NOT informed of my disability but even after being told of it, did not help me find other avenues for work (namely work from home jobs). They did not offer any form of resume assistance. Ultimately my therapist helped me rewrite my resume and get a job. I can't help but feel going through Voc Rehab was nothing but a waste of time. Honestly I'VE managed to do better work helping others become employed than I've heard about from here
