Holiday Inn & Suites Daytona Beach on the Ocean, an IHG Hotel

If the hotel is on the shore at Daytona Beach it's awesome. This hotel had a beautiful entry beautiful downstairs restaurant and bar. The pool and surrounding area was very nice. Our room the bathroom door had loose screws in the hinges. The door would get stuck on the floor you had to lift up to close it. A newer mattress and pillows would have made it more comfortable. We enjoyed our stay regardless.

We've stayed at this location twice now. The staff has been kind and helpful. Even being there with spring break travelers this week things were calm and relaxing. The proximity to the beach can't be beat and if your kids are older you can enjoy being on the patio by the pool and still keep an eye on them down in the sand. The rooms are clean and the hotel is well kept. Would recommend for all kinds of travelers. Rooms: Rooms fit basic needs and are clean and tidy. Come with a small fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. We've also used a roll away on request that has been very comfortable. Walkability: Close to food and shops. Well kept, wide sidewalks make all these things easily accessible.

We stayed for 4 nights and after a couple of minor issues the first night that were immediately made right by Chris at the front desk our stay was great! We loved the beach access, pool and enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant each morning with our fabulous waitress, Debra! Id stay here again!
