I recently closed on a new condo that was built by Peck and Associates.  I am not sure the experience could have been worse.  There were several items identified on the final walk-through that went onto the punch list (which is typically to be expected with new construction).  However, from that point on, I feel the process was completely mismanaged.  It took 2 1/2 months to complete the items with me badgering them to schedule the work.  There seemed to be no formal process to manage the project as my contact for them rarely (if ever) knew the completion status of the project, and, on more than one occasion, supplied incorrect information  When I questioned why the project was taking so long and why their communication was so poor, I got a steady stream of excuses, blaming others and empty assurances.  They did get one star because the project was finally completed correctly, but it took me making multiple calls to multiple people in their organization to drive the completion of the work.  In my opinion, had I not continually stayed on top of them and the project, it still would not be complete.  I can honestly say that I would not purchase another residence where they were the builder.

This company has left numerous home owners, including many elderly, displaced. Do not use them. They started construction on Peck Plaza right after Hurricane Matthew. It has been several years now and people are still unable to get in their homes. Nothing but excuse after excuse. Poor company and poor morals.
