I took my non Catholic friend with me to Mass. it was during a major downpour, we were early, the church was 90% full and was lucky to get a seat. Before Mass started a baby was baptized. The pastor match around holding the baby up like from the Lion King. The pastor gave a wonderful sermon, the music was uplifting and it made you feel the presence of God. Looking to going again when Im in town

My wife Stacy and I went to the 10:30 am Easter Service which was given by retired pastor Tim Daly from the Basilica of St. Paul in Holly Hill. It was an amazing service and Father Tim was so engaging and gave the most beautiful homily.

Rigidly, proudly ultra-liberal views offered instead of inclusive & welcoming atmosphere for all. Our precious Constitution calls for free expression of faiths - of all kinds & as we believe. This church opts out of that - *shameful*. Once DNC-wannabe Father Phil departs, the parish needs a modern update that stresses basic foundations of our precious faith. Not partisan hackery. All means *all.* Right, Father? All worshippers, all points of view, all political stripes. The tone at Lourdes is a throwback to an older era that's been flushed out of better-run churches. Best wishes Father, on your journey onward. You left your mark. Now: Peace out -

LOL, I enjoy the Lion King image, since that is how God views us. We are all baptized priest, prophet and king. Thanks for joining us. Hope you visit again.
