Better off going next door where it is cleaner, the workers are friendly and speak English and the plants are healthier.

Fair price for bug-free, excellent sod, loaded up by them and what a difference in my front yard!

I had sod installed and a small section of the yard raised by Garizmos a few weeks ago. They did an awesome job and the sod seems to be rooting very well. Remember:
1) New sod requires frequent watering. Don't forget to water it 2x/day in very hot weather. After a few weeks, you can decrease the watering to 1/day, then every other day etc.
2) I applied antifungal after 2 weeks as all the water was causing the grass blades to get brown spots and look pale. (I probably soaked it with too much water.) Now, it looks great.
3) If it is the time of year for grubs, be aware that grubs love new grass (they didn't come in your new sod, they just like it better than the old). You can apply grub killer if need be. (Luckily, I did not have that problem.)
4) Don't apply fertilizer for the first couple of months.
