To start, we didnt eat here! However, after a stop to Playa Bowls after picking up kids from school- we stopped by to order sushi. Hostess states its at an order up window located in the back of the restaurant. Not wanting to drag kids to the back, I asked if we could order at the restaurant. He answer was no- hence the review. Not accommodating or flexible

Currently sitting at the bar with our favorite bartender Stacey! Shes the reason we continue to come back and enjoy her and the delicious food! My husband has been ordering the salmon dish for a while (Josh style) he makes it with a coconut cream sauce! Its delicious! While waiting on his dish after they didnt make it correctly the first time your NEW manager brought it to the bar and was extremely rude. As she placed his dish on the bar she made it clear that this is the last time the chef will be making it this way! Thats definitely not the way to go about it with a customer that comes at least once a week. Maybe having the manager discuss with their staff what the kitchen expectations are and what they are and are not willing to make to make their customers happy. Everyone sitting at the bar all commented on how rude and uncomfortable the situation was. So although Stacey and Fernando are excellent and treat us with so much respect your manager failed to manage and make a customer happy all while ruining our experience for tonight!

Im not sure whats wrong with this place or why they protect their employees more than they protect their Customers. The male take out worker with blonde hair intentionally added extra tip to my check after I had already paid to give himself extra without my consent or knowledge. Im pretty sure i probably wasnt the only one. Regardless I called in to get this fixed and one of the guy managers fixed it, however there was no apology on this boys part. I kept seeing him working and he always has an extremely nasty attitude and kept saying it was an accident in an extremely rude tone. He didnt even have the common courtesy to apologize. I also dont buy he accidentally added extra dollars for tip he typed it on a computer and I know because I used to be a waitress. I had to tell him that I dont appreciate his attitude towards me when I ordered last and had to ask him to say sorry and apologise because thats stealing money from a customer. When you make mistakes , you normally say sorry and dont act entitled. A voluntary apology would have made me forget about it. He tried to hide behind a female manager because he knows she likes him and is protected. I tried to call again to speak with the same male manager who previously helped me to follow up and Im not sure why but they put me on the phone with this same boy who scammed me thinking I wouldnt notice . He trid to delegate me to his female manager saying she is the main store manager . The amount of foolishness this boy gets away with is reprehensible . Please Phat boy hire better people not teenagers or immature adults. I also want to warn other customers if you see this blonde headed boy working please check your bank statements to make sure he doesnt charge extra tips to your bill. It looks like they havent reprimanded him yet which explains his rude and entitled behaviour. Im going to have to talk with the guy manager I spoke with last time because it seems like the lady is fond of this worker and theyre trying to hide the male manager from me . But really this is extremely sad because I liked the food but the workers attitude and stealing money from customers and them protecting him is not okay
