Steak 'n Shake

Apparently table service is a thing of the past at Steak & Shake. I was waiting for tire service on my car, and decided to have lunch at the nearby Steak & Shake. When I enterd, I was informed that before I could sit down at a table, I had to first place and pay for my order at one of the self-service kiosks. Then I could pick up the food at the counter when ready, and carry it to my table. At least I didn't have to tip myself. I guess the next time I plan to take someone out for dinner, I better check first to see if the restaurant still has table service!

As with all Steak n Shakes, the dining is dated, so we decided to have it to go. Veshay was exceptional, and leadership should take note that she will be one of the main reasons well return. Great energy from her, and the burgers and fries were so delicious. BUT lets talk about those shakes. Wow. Hands down, the best you can get at a fast-food chain. Kit Kat and Strawberry will have you wanting more. Pricepoints are pocket-friendly as well. Skip over the BKs and Mickie Ds.try this S&S next time and youll see the difference in food and costs!

I havent been here in a while and the prices did go up from 5 years ago but that makes sense! Food was very good and the milkshakes are always delicious!

The food was great. The customer service was excellent. Thanks to the most helpful manager in town. Y'all know elderly ppl don't know how to fully use self checkout. She was very helpful. I didn't get her name. I'm going back just to get it. She deserves to be recognized by name.
