Sleep Inn & Suites Ft Lauderdale International Airport

Hotel is clean. Looks like they are trying to renovate it. Our shower and floors were brand new. The a/c worked okay but is a little dated. The pool was clean however the hot tub wasn't heating. The service was wonderful and friendly. The location is very close to the broadwalk and beach which is the best part.All in all would stay here again.

Floor was filthy-I wiped it up-even found a needle. Cleanliness not the first priority here

Many issues, wouldn't recommend. Staff was friendly, just not a good hotel. Shuttle - waited at the airport for over an hour as every other hotel shuttle came/left multiple times. Staff wasn't able to tell us when they would be arriving. We would have taken an Uber if we knew the wait. Pool - 2 of our kids slipped on the concrete which has not been maintained/cleaned. Pool was too cold for the adults. Hot tub was fine, but wasn't clean. Room - slight smell. Sheets clean, but beds were uncomfortable. There was a live bug on the floor under our sink. Breakfast - very limited options, but overall what we expected from other reviews (waffles, juice, toast, yogurt). Chinese restaurant across the street was good. Walmart across the street was convenient.

The free airport shuttle is great, until it takes 60 minutes to leave the airport. I went down to breakfast, which was cold cereal. Got locked out of my room, because the lock wouldn't work. I was told they can't help until the day shift shows up. 2 hours later I was able to get back in my room. There was never a code given or posted for the "free" Wi-Fi. The room was not quite dirty, but not clean. But, at least while I was stuck in the lobby, I got watch 3 cleaners have a fight in the lobby.
