I'm from New York and whenever I come to Crystal River to visit family, I make at least one stop at cattle dog! It's great coffee with fun seasonal drinks, I've never had the same drink twice. Just got a fluffy bunny: toasted marshmallow and caramel. If you don't like the sweet stuff that's fine because again, it's great coffee and they have so many blends. If you enjoy it as much as I do, they have so many kinds of beans in bags to go. They'll grind the beans for you and everything. Food rocks too! The rotation of pastries has a mix of simple and funky options. Lots of yummy sandwiches. I got a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant today, which is cheaper than the one I got at Dunkin yesterday and like 10x better. The people are consistently lovely too, great service every time I've visited. And with my visits being spread out over the last 3 years, I think that says something about management. If you're visiting CR, make a stop at cattle dog and support these lovely people! Perfect place for a quick brunch before an adventure or to grab drinks to go and walk around town.
