St John's Recovery Place

I ended up at SJRP totally unexpected and pretty much at rock bottom. I was nervous but the staff and the atmosphere quickly made me feel so welcome. The different groups, therapy sessions, counselors, and adventures make you feel yourself again. It's comfortable, the food is amazing, the doctor is great, the massages, vat bed, outdoors trips, smoke breaks, etc. make SJRP a life savor for me. A+

I was in active addiction for 14 years. I went to sjrp 4 times. Not ashamed to say it.. it took me a few times to get it right. But the staff was so amazing and made me feel comfortable and literally got to know me very well and knew what it would take to push me through. And it worked. I been off drugs for two years. I can honestly say everyone there really hold a special place in my heart.

Without question SJRP excels in the most important aspect of treatment, a broad scope of Therapies to meet the needs of individual clients. Only a few Rehabs in the entire country use EMDR in the first 30 days of inpatient treatment. Anyone can stay sober and reboot inside the confines of rehabilitation but unless they have acquired some Tools to combat ongoing Trauma, such as EMDR and the modalities that accompany it, or adverse environmental circumstances their prognosis is not good. Unfortunately this seems to be the business plan for some large companies that appear to offer these Therapies on their Websites and then fail to deliver. At least that was my experience. Not so at SJRP. I feel confident in recommending them knowing that they are continuously trying to stay abreast of any developments in the field and readily and eagerly pass that on to clients in a true honest effort to help them succeed. A polar opposite to some rehabs priorities. Not only was the Therapy I received enough to keep me sober it was also the catalyst to see life through a different lens. I realized I had yet to live life to the fullest. To follow the Path that made me feel truly ALIVE. I went from Carpenter to Street Performer. SJRP set me on the path of a lifetime of self discovery, individuation and discovery. Not only where the Tools specific to recovery life changing but I also gained a new perspective and understanding of Inner Work that everyone can benefit from. From Meditation and Mindfulness, Urge Surfing to EFT tapping SJRP had it all. Once upon a time someone said my life was Hollow. Now its anything but. Good luck and Godspeed!

SJRP is filled with positivity and staffed with caregivers, therapists and an administrative team that go beyond what I reasonably expected. Their methods and approaches work their way into the deepest, darkest places in a persons mind and soul. They shine the light that enables them see the beauty and brightness of a sober life. I had a family member go to the center and he made a remarkable recovery. He saved his own life and his marriage. Melissa, Max and Michele were some of the greatest Supports for our family. He learned how to meditate. He was also able to find the root cause of the frustration that led to an unhealthy use of alcohol. This place is really a house of miracles.
