Malpractice- as a medical professional I am in utter disbelief as to the moral character of the owners of this clinic in putting acquisition over patient care. Worse no notification to patient base, have called left messages, been told I would get a call back, no responses. Moved my dog to another privately owned practice. The amount of people from LBK to Anna Maria and the village this served and they pull up stakes and walk away. Temporarily closed is short for sell out put money before medicine - class action, malpractice, it should all be on the table. Bay shore group is profit driven at your pets expense - they continue to send automated emails about my pets care, no mention of closure and one call to try to reach anyone just VM - state should investigate this business Dr B T B

Beach Vet been our vet for over 10 years and we loved the family feel the truly personal experience however the experience has drastically changed Theiffice off Cortez road was damaged during the Hurricane Idillia last fall and at that time Beach Vet made a decision that certainly has effect on al of the families who have been Loyal to a office that has seen tremendous changes in the past 5 years and today marked the end of the long standing relationship our family has had with Beach Veterinary Clinic. Our Fur Baby had an appointment for today at 9:40 am I had received a call yesterday from a representative from Bayshore Animal Hospital stating they were the new location of Beach Vet and our PUP was due for some Vaccinations. I was asked if could come in today and I said yes so long as I would be able to be out the door by 1020-1030 I was assured that would not be a problem. However today the drive to the office took slightly longer than anticipated as the Bradenton PD was out in full force at every school zone I was required to drive through to get to the clinic which is now a 40 minute drive in the Hours the school zones are active I admit I was 6 minutes late and never thought this would be a problem but the very Rude young girl at the front desk told me I would have a good little wait ahead of me since I was LATE! I then said I couldnt wait as I had another appointment at 11 and would need to be finished by 1030 as I originally had instructed the appointment scheduler. She said well you have a good day then I then said I will be looking for a New Family Vet one who is not a you are just a number. unfortunately the new standard of care is not one of excellence it is the one that demonstrated today by way of the front desk staff that retaining existing clients is not important I assume because it does not impact them if the office has less revenue and fewer patients. . Lastly I was informed on my way out the door the Beach Vet office in Cortez road will probably not be reopened. Maybe that information should have been disclosed to all of the patients that frequented the office! Beach Vet. Sad that we have such little value and a Wonderful Family Office has now gone.
