The efforts of Sergio Gomez and Dominik Gibson saved me from having to replace a working Auto Pilot Salt Cell that just needed to be cleaned. Briefly, in servicing my salt cell, I cross-threaded one of the joints. I called the Pinch-A-Penny store in Coral Springs and spoke to Sergio. I explained the issue and he immediately jumped at getting me a service appointment. Dominik, the service technician, spent a good hour trying to loosen the joint with no success. He took photos of my installation and told me he would discuss with other technicians for ideas and would return. Honestly, at that point I wasnt sure if Dominik would return. But much to my surprise he did. We tried several new suggestions with no success. At this point the only solution seemed to cut the joint and hope not to damage the cell. But as we discussed this option, Dominik came up with an idea that left the cross-threaded joint in place and allow the cell to be cleaned. His idea was to disassemble the system at a different point, that allows the cell to be dunked in a bucket of water-acid and be cleaned without damaging the rest of the assembly. To me this was an ingenious solution. The cell was cleaned and system was back to normal. Dominik spent close to two hours in total, came to my property twice and I was only charge for one service call, plus I did not have to replace any parts. Thank you so much Sergio and Dominik. As a side comment, I check my water and buy the chemicals at this location, the employees that work there; Sergio, Estevan, everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable.

By far the worst place to buy anything for your pool. Stay away from this place.
