Motiv8 Events

I selected Affordable Affairs (aka Elegant Occasions and Event Services Group aka Motiv8) from the preferred vendors list provided by The Signature Grand. I purchased the 3-hour photo and 2-hour video package to start at 5:30 pm, both arrived at 5:52 pm. Their late arrival caused my wedding to start late and run late. After the ceremony, we took formal pictures in the lobby. I asked for pictures outside which were never taken. There are no photos of just me with my parents, the bridesmaids/groomsmen, or my three stepdaughters. My bridesmaid asked for a photo of just our families together and was told there is not enough time. There is no photo or video coverage of my cocktail hour or my guests at their tables, which I asked for in writing. Laurie told me, There was no time. Introductions started at 7:30, during which the videographer stood by the entrance door and filmed everyone's back as they came in, then he left. The photographer took photos of our first dance and speeches and left at 8:04 pm, he was contracted to stay until 8:30. My cake cutting was also missed. I emailed Bryan Kaufman, who I had been communicating with, and told him about their late arrival and early departure. He assured me that he would look into it and would be able to tell by the time stamps and would get back to me within a few days. Two weeks later, I received an email stating, youre mistaken, your photos have been sent to you. I inquired about video and never received a response; I eventually received my video from Laurie. After reviewing all my photos and time stamps, there are photos of my reception room at 5:15 and then the next photo is not until 5:56. My ceremony and formal pictures from 6:30 to 7:30, there are also several photos of my dress on the hanger at 7:22 and putting on my shoes at 7:29, my husband and I at our sweetheart table at 8:02 and then 4 more pictures time stamped at 8:29 of formals in the lobby. When I pointed out the conflicting time stamps and asked for an explanation of the timeline and why no photos were taken between 5:20 and 5:50 and 8:05 and 8:25. I was laughed at by Mr. Kaufman and told that multiple cameras were used and the times were not synchronized and that there is no way to change the time stamps. Ultimately, I was told oh well and there is nothing more she can do for me. Not only did they arrive late and leave early the pictures and video they did capture were of mediocre quality. I am completely disgusted with the lack of professionalism from this company and am sharing my experience to warn other brides.

OFF THE CHARTS AMAZING! While we were certain Motiv8 would do a fantastic job with our event, they exceeded our expectations. From the decor, to the entertainment to the photography, the Bat Mitzvah for my daughter Sabrina this weekend was top notch on every level. Jeff Gold and his entertainment team KILLED IT. The energy was South Beach club status. The music fantastic, the staging and effects like no other; you will never see something like this from any other entertainment company. The decor was impeccable and so unique. My phone has been ringing off the hook from people telling me this was the SICKEST party they have ever been to. Working with Motiv8 made this stressful experience a pleasure. They were responsive, attentive to our wishes, accommodating and present on every level. There is no one else that could ever do a better job and I cannot wait to use them again when my twins get Bat Mitzvah'd. Laurie Caradonna was an integral part of the planning process and she did EXCEPTIONAL pictures for Sabrina's photo shoot. I cannot wait to see the pictures from the event. If you want a one of kind EXPERIENCE for your event, don't look any further than Motiv8. I promise you...your guests will be talking about you and your event for a long time!!!

Wow! Did Jeff Gold and his amazing crew at Motive8 deliver the best, most fun bar-mizvah party ever? They sure did! The energy, music, dancers, DJ and Jeff himself, were just top notch. We got countless compliments on the entertainment. Can't wait to book them for our next party! Thanks!
