Excellent dishes! Service needs more training.

The food is great. After multiple visits to SoBe location we went to Fort L. this time, looking for better service after a horrible experience in SoBe on our last visit. Service at Planta Queen Fort L. today was sub-par, for the price of the food I expect better trained staff. My guest ordered a couple of dishes and the waitress walked away, I had to call her back and tell her I wanted something else too. We had to ask for a dessert menu. Waitress assumed we where done and put the bill on the table, we were going to have another dessert and another espresso, this was terrible. Bang bang broccoli presentation was not consistent with SoBe, where in SoBe they toss it in the sauce, at Fort L. it was drizzled on top and much less sauce. We'll try Coconut Grove location next time.

I have been a loyal planta customer for 2+ years now. Tonight, on a Thursday, the place was EMPTY. Nonetheless, we ordered our usual favorites and were excited! The bang bang broccoli (our favorite dish) was tiny and served in a smaller bowl than usual. It was dry and lacked the normal delicious tasty flavor it brings. For around $14 we were bewildered with the portion and quality. It probably only came with 6 or 7 pieces of broccoli. The Caesar was bland, and lightly dressed to the point it only tasted like kale. The pineapple fried rice felt reheated and the portion was once again tiny. I love planta but it seems something has gone horribly wrong with its management. Not to mention, they changed happy hour from 4-7 to 4-6. Overall, I am extremely disappointed but hopeful they will get it together. Our server was nice but never gave us soy sauce and seemed a little unprepared. Our experiences here have always been outstanding, so we are hoping next time they fix these random issues.
