    Trying to get through to someone at any time during the weekday or weekend is always impossible and a pain in the butt, and then they have the audacity to charge a convenience fee to pay rent on top of the ridiculously high rent prices?! Sure, neighborhood is very nice and well kept, but we've NEVER paid a convenience fee to pay our rent using our checking account through the resident portals at the various rental communities we've lived at; first time EVER, especially given that there's a fee for pretty much EVERYTHING, even for parking which we also never paid for at the other rental communities we lived at. Oh, and not to mention that we've had roaches showing up in our unit since day 1 of living here; we haven't even been here for a solid month peeps... RIDICULOUS!     Just received lease renewal with rent going up over $500 a month (28% increase) since last year!! Definitely not worth the additional cost. Looking for new home! Dont recommend this community.

    This car that has all flat tires and has been sitting in the same complex as me for weeks or maybe longer. But my car caught a flat tire and the very nxt day I received a green sticker on my car. My car was then towed the nxt day without me knowing. After my car was towed, I had to pay $190 to get it out. & Nicole from the leasing office gave me attitude saying my car was not registered when it is. They said inoperable vehicles get towed in 24hours ryt. But til this day I see two vehicles on flats before my car even went flat still parked in the same spot. Why. Was I targeted? Maybe because I am black and they are letting me no I am not welcomed here. I am fed up and want my refund of $190!!!     Look Long Post BUT Must Read - I moved to this community 4 months ago without ever seeing the unit. I moved across the country and during my search found it very difficult to get in touch with most communities. Some communities would answer and then some would never return my call. I even had eager leasing agents wanting to rent to me but when I asked important questions they would answer 1/5. Thankfully, I got in contact with Brandon, the former assistant manager, who was extremely professional, helpful, and was absolutely the reason I moved to Advenir. He ensured the unit was ready for me as I was driving across country. Brandon also took the extra step in sending me a video of a similar townhome which help reassured what Id be walking into on move-in day. Plus his consistent communication was helpful too. When I arrived to the community most people were friendly and said hi. I love my neighbors and made friends with them almost immediately. My unit was remodeled and clean minus a few minor issues that were immediately addressed. I did have brand new appliances, fixtures, countertops, toilets, fresh paint which was poorly done in some spots but know thats the vendors fault not the community and new cabinets. The former maintenance technician, Jose, went above and beyond on move in day ensuring those first minor issues were resolved within my first 24 hours. The current maintenance technician, David, is absolutely superb. He is quick, efficient, professional and ensures the residents are taken care of. You can tell he genuinely cares about his job and does his absolute best with what he is given. I was saddened to hear when Brandon & Jose left but the team in the office is friendly and has been since day one. If you walk into the office they say hi and happy to help if you have a question. I can say it is difficult at times to get through on the phones but coming from property management on the West Coast, I know this industry is not the easiest. You deal with difficult residents, some that are not understanding. Also when its busy renting season its difficult to get through on phones because of the high business demands. Not many would know this if you havent worked in this industry. Now after being here for 4 months there have been a few issues with my home but again, were addressed. Those issues just happen when you move into an older community. Some of the things I like most about my home is the size, upgrades, location and rent cost in comparison to most 1x1/2x2 apartments. Its hard paying high rent nowadays and although I am nervous about the possible rent increase next year despite that not being the offices fault, I will probably renew my lease. Also, I rarely hear my neighbors and if I do its a slamming cabinet here and there. I have never heard them speaking which is great! Shows the walls arent paper thin like most rentals. At the end of the day everyone has their own opinion and experiences. Every community has its flaws or areas where improvement is needed. This community is not perfect and when youre renting you have to keep an open mind of those imperfections. Overall, you cant beat the location. Everything you need is close by including the freeways. I feel safe which is number one for me in importance. Most people say hi and smile which assured the sense of security as well. Lastly, the maintenance technician David is efficient, kind and trustworthy. Having a good maintenance person on property is important as well.
