She made filing a breeze and made some great recommendations for filing in the future. Michelle made herself available to my calls and replied very quickly to my emails.         Im not sure what just happened but wont be using them. Was almost surreal. Just kept pushing standard deduction without offering up any ideas, didnt seem interested at all in filing an itemized - felt almost afraid of it? Came recommended from a neighbor - Ill have to let them know turbo tax is way cheaper to file standard. Baffling to me how they are in business.

        I started my own marketing consulting business about 3 years ago and I had absolutely no clue where to begin! I know very little about accounting and found the entire process very intimidating. I was overwhelmed teaching myself QuickBooks, and then I found another accountant who didn't have time to entertain my basic questions. That all changed when I found Michelle and Jack at J&M Tax!       Dear Rudi:I'm sorry your experience was surreal. As with all our clients, we review all documentation and complete returns so that clients pay the lowest amount of taxes legally allowed. This may be either with the standard or itemized deduction depending on the clients expenses.I'm sorry we were not able to accommodate you with your tax filing but it appeared you were more interested in filing yourself with Turbo Tax.
