Great option for local area transit if you don't drive or don't want to drive. Rich on Route 1 is an exceptional driver that goes out of his way to safely provide passengers with a good experience. Also he always has the best Music playing on the Space Coast. Keep up the Great Work.

Apparently they don't know how to keep their buses up and running for more than a day. The number 28 keeps breaking down because they gave mechanics that stand around and do nothing. They need to hire people that actually know how to do the job

The main transfer point in Cocoa Beach, by Shepherd Park, is worse than a third world country. NO SHADE, HELL on earth. I stood in boiling 3:00-3:30 P.M. sun, along with a large crowd, and I'm sure that we suffered, even the next day, from that painful ordeal. Years ago, the evil manager (woman) at the bank, destroyed the life-saving SEAGRAPE tree, for spite. She HATED the people who took refuge from it. The only shade is from palms out in the median, IF someone crosses the road. There's two small glass "shelters"; GLASS!, in the deadly heat! I felt like a tortured prisoner. People were squeezing against the OUTSIDE of the glass, by the concrete garbage containers (which can't be moved); desperate for any bit of shade. Isn't this a poor impression of Cocoa Beach, for all visitors to see?! How is this CRUELTY possible, in the U.S.A., in 2023?! Also, I took bus 30 to the east end of Eau Gallie Cswy., where the thoughtless driver of bus 26 WOULDN'T DRIVE UP TO THE PLAINLY MARKED TRANSFER POINT, to pick us up, leaving us out in the miserable HEAT for an extra hour! There were dangerous bums at the beach, demanding money, cigarettes, drugs! We had to call for help, as a deranged man threatened us. This horrible driver should be fired. He made up his own rules/sicko games; wanted folks to walk way out to the highway, where there's NO BUS STOP sign! I hope one of those scum trash robs him, then he'll know what I went through. My 2022 review: Some of the bus rides are good. Mon. Dec. 5, I tried to take a bus to an important app't. I found out the hard way, that it's a huge problem traveling through Merritt Island, MONDAY MORNINGS, because of the disgusting food giveaway, (outdated "food"), on Magnolia St., one block s. of 520. I got to the Cocoa station before 8:20 a.m., and WAITED OVER ONE HOUR AND 20 MIN., for the #4. My stomach was in knots and I had to try not to scream! I gave up and had to go a different way, which means I couldn't keep the app't. All I could do was get my car back. The bus employees know about this delay; they told me THE BUS IS LATE because of a FOOD GIVEAWAY. WHY can't they send an extra bus?! #4 is a MAJOR CONNECTOR. I tried calling; endless recording. I guess folks were frantically calling to ask WHERE'S THE BUS! I went to the office. (Btw, I have a nice vehicle, and probably more $ than any of them). The two women employees seem to think the riders are poor and not worthy of respect. It had been 2 yrs. since I took a bus. Dec. 14: harrowing ordeal, started with MEAN BULLY woman bus driver who was late, going s. on U.S.1, Cocoa, bus #1, 5:50 p.m., DROVE RIGHT BY me + someone else, leaving us STRANDED, with darkness upon us! We were watching, we WAVED and walked INTO road a bit. (I was told that she probably wouldn't pick us up)! She's white, dark hair, eyeglasses, harsh face. EVIL/psychopath? This time I did scream. (I rode a LATER bus to Cocoa). I confronted her in Viera. She LIED; said that she "wasn't supposed to pick us up" (back in Cocoa). IF that was true, then why would she drive from Cocoa to Viera. Why wouldn't "her" bus have "out if service" on it. She picked the wrong person to do this to! This is her last day of doing that. She made all riders LATE to Viera; cost 50 minutes of pain/no bathroom, nothing open at that hour. Then, it took over an hour extra in Melb., as now on evening schedule. All because of this evil driver. Time on bus and wasting time standing in the dark, 4 hours. Time driving back in my beautiful car, 1 hour. There WERE two helpful drivers that night.
