Desert Acres Stables

I dont even give this place a 1 star! My daughter first time every with lessons! She simply just covered her nose and here comes the rudeness of the instructor! My daughter is freaking 8! Theyre not friendly off in their own little conversations then want to make comments about how my daughter is more interested in the dogs! What else you want her to freaking do! Youre not nice and not doing anything with her! Talking about how she wasnt impressed that my daughter simply covered her nose! That was NOT the experience I had in my mind about having her have lessons!

This place is amazing. Donna is absolutely wonderful with my daughter. Her animals are so well kept and loved, and it shows.

Donna was fabulous! We enjoyed our horseback riding. Very knowledgeable about horses. Took the time to teach us along the way and point out some cool animals and facts along the way. Highly recommend!

Back in July 2022 my wife and I decided to get away for a few days for our anniversary. It was on our bucket list to go horseback riding for the first time. We wanted to find a little family owned stable to support when we came across desert acres stables. Based on Google reviews seems like the perfect spot for us so I called to make reservations and spoke with Donna who was an absolute sweetheart on the phone. We got there for a 9:00 a.m. ride. Donna and Alli her assistant for both prepping the horses for us. they greeted us and were both very warm and welcoming it was our first time and they coach us through what was needed to be successful in our ride. after about 2 minutes on the horses my wife and I were perfectly comfortable purely based on the instructions given to us by Donna. It was a one hour ride that was totally awesome or only regret is that we didn't book it for a longer time. Donna and Ali are both pros and handling the horses Donna is an awesome teacher and I will definitely be going there again. As for the cost it was worth every penny I would have paid more. Thank you Donna and Alli for my wife and I's first horseback experience and for making it an awesome one
