This past Saturday we came here and were sat right away. There were maybe 4 tables occupied in the whole place. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. We were a 2 top. We sat for a while and chatted and after 20 mins or so we noticed a lot of the tables were filling up. The people there before us were starting to get their food so we were like, ok we are close. Then a table of 4 who got there way after us got their food. We were like, Ok....and it's not what we ordered. Just a burger and shrimp. Now, I know a ticket can get lost, overlooked, etc. And we wouldn't have cared if our server had ever returned. After dropping drinks, we never saw her again. The lady dropping food around us never bothered either. After waiting over an hour with no food and no server and watching everyone else eating, we dropped cash for the drinks and started to walk out. The hostess said, I hope you enjoyed it and I said no, we never got the food. Our server heard me and just looked at me. No comment, no sorry, nothing. I just said the cash for the drinks is there. So we went to the Salty Sisters and got sat, served and full in no time! I just wanted someone else to notice we sat there with nothing. Really poorly done. I won't go back. Can't even rate the food. .

We did not stay at the hotel, however, we found the restaurant online with good reviews. They did not disappoint! The food was delicious and we received excellent service from Nikki. Angel stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed and we certainly did. The atmosphere was lovely. We were a group of six that had not visited with each other in a while, so we were looking for a restaurant that was quiet enough that we could talk with each other. This was the perfect spot!

The host was pleasant, they seemed short staffed for Sunday brunch. The fish and chips was not the best, the fish was burnt and over saturated in spots with the vinegar sauce. The server Brigette was horrible to us. She was super attentive to the white couple seated after us (my fiance is melanin rich) and even tried to accuse him of trying to walk out on the tab when he tried to go to the bathroom after he waited almost 10 minutes for her to collect the money for the bill! I went to the car for an after meal smoke while he paid. After this experience we will not return. Bi-racial couples don't bother here, you're service might be trash and the food did not taste better with the pretty flower on the plate.
