I am very disappointed to have to write this review but after 4 months of terrible service and wasting my time, I really just have no choice. We contacted John back in January to have him come out and quote painting our sidewalk and driveway. Our first experience pretty much set the pace for the rest of our experience. We made an appointment for him to come out and quote. After he was 30 minutes late for our appointment, I reached out to see if he would still be coming out (rather than him calling me to say that he would be late). He said oh yeah, he was about another 30 minutes away and if it was still alright would be there then. So, whatever, we moved on and he finally showed up and said that he would have a quote right out and said that we could get the work done in the next week or so. Two months later, I am walking down my sidewalk and am pretty upset that John never got back to me. So I finally reach out to John said that I was curious why he never followed through? He responded, apologized for being unprofessional and said that he could come right out if I still wanted him to. He even gave me a good price for the inconvenience. Things happen, so I said sure let’s get it done. We have since gone through a month of him saying “we will be out tomorrow”, then a no-show, not even a call to say that they wouldn’t be showing. I would text him and he would say sorry, we will be out on such and such a day only for another no-show. Now he just doesn’t respond to my messages. I am beyond confused about all of the great reviews based on my experience. At first, I thought that it was just an isolated incident. Then after he kept no showing up, it unfortunately became an entirely different story. The last impression that I have is that John could not care less about customer service or the impact that poor service has. Sadly, I needed the entire house painted inside and out. The sidewalk was just the most immediate priority. I cannot comment on the quality of their work because they just never showed up. My biggest complaint and that they kept missing appointments like it was a game. I hope others had better experiences, but based on this experience I would never recommend or use RJ Painting & Coating.
